As far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated with the difference in textures and the small details around me. This is more than likely why black and white imagery has always been a love of mine. It heightens the urge to find the details that one may not notice in color.

This imagery documents an overview of baby Maverick's life while living in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. These intimate moments were captured near the end of his three month hospital stay. Baby Maverick and his family have been on quite the roller coaster ride. From the moment finding out during pregnancy that Maverick would be one of three in a million born in 2017 without complete intestines, to the fear of what the future will or will not hold for their baby's life. This beautiful family has been through an abundance of challenges, but have never given up hope for healing.
